Winston is such as a sunshine! This cute lil’ boy smiles a lot. His relationship as best friends with his grandpa could just steal your heart. Winston’s mom and dad planned a mickey mouse themed birthday party because Winston like Mickey mouse and since he was an infant, he smiles & giggles everytime he heard Mickey’s voice.

Olivia’s 1st Birthday

On a one fine evening, one fine couple were hosting a birthday dinner party for their 1 year old daughter. Olivia is a first grandchild from both side, so you could imagine how the grandparents are super excited when she turns one. Olivia is such a fit & well coordinated baby, she could walk quite well for someone who’s just turn 1 year old.

Susanto & Mercy : The Path to Love

Susanto and Mercy first met at high school in their home town in Borneo. They were in the same group of friends and usually hanged out together. Later on, they moved to Jakarta & went to the same university but different faculties. Then, they move on and live life of their own until they crossed path again one time at another city in Java. Susanto secretly fall for Mercy, but too afraid to ask at the time. Time passed by to an era of Blackberry where their high school blackberry group was created and they get connected again. Fate brings them together again and this time he won’t let it go.

Kent’s 6th Birthday Celebration

Time really flies. It seems like just yesterday that I took Kent’s 5th Birthday photos. Kent is now 6 years old and now in elementary school.
Kent’s parents throw him a birthday party celebration with ‘Angry Bird’ theme at a Burger King outlet. It was a great day. The kids were enjoying themselves with games, prizes & party favors given that day.

Anin’s Sweet 17 dinner party

I met Anin for the first time at Felicia‘s Sweet Seventeen birthday party dinner a few months ago and it is now her turn to celebrate her own Sweet Seventeen. Anin appears beautiful and she has a splashing good time enjoying the dinner party with her beloved family, friends & guests.

Felicia Tanuwidjaja Sweet 17

It’s my second time doing a Sweet 17 photo session for a girl named Felicia and hoping for more Felicias in the future as they are fabulous. Happiness is what the name means. Felicia leaping for joy as she celebrate her Sweet 17 birthday. Her grandparents and cousins came a long from Solo just to be there for Felicia’s special day. She invited her friends from her current & previous schools that she attended. While Felicia is considered as a quite reserve person, she actually can go crazy with her close friends. It was great that in the middle of exam period, lots of her friends still can make it to the party & have fun with her. She loved the design of her birthday cake which was designed by her beloved friend and was really happy with her Event Organizer which also consist of a bunch of her friends. Double Happiness: Jerry & Mega Wedding

My dearest friend Mega whom I’ve known and loved for over a dozen years finally tying a knot with her love Jerry. We were over the moon ecstatic for the happy couple! Mega is a quite person on the exterior, but wait till she crack on her sudden funny comments with her ‘logat jowo’ (javanese accent)… She will make you laugh out loud! Mega is a kind, smart, & very thoughtful woman and he is marrying her hunny bear Jerry, a caring man & avid lover of Lego. With their lego collections, Mega has limitless lego stories to tell. You should check out Mega’s Lego stories.. she like to pose the lego characters & make photo story of the logo set and posted them once in awhile.. which I enjoy & crave for more..

The maid of honor Wei Wei is Mega’s cousin & Kevin the best man is Wei Wei’s boyfriend. Another lovely couple on the way to say I do! That is why I titled this post double happiness as these couples kiss simultaneously in one of the photo below.

We have a blast in Surabaya. Thanks to Jerry & Mega’s hospitality who during their very busy time still manage to take care of us.

Congratulation on your wedding! We are so happy for both of you.

Crystal, a young & talented violin player has turned 17 into a young woman, looking fabulous.
Wearing a gorgeous red layered shot dress with a pair of black heels, She had all dressed up for her party.
Her friends, joined her as she celebrated her sweet 17th birthday at Madeleine Bistro, a cozy place at Kemang with delicious food. The invited friends seems to had an amazing night & enjoyed the marvellous feast.

My thanks to Crystal’s wonderful family for including me in this important milestone in their beautiful daughter’s life!

Sharing The Joy of Aloysius 1st Birthday Celebration in a Noble Way

When I first contacted by Mr & Mrs Manohar to shoot their son Aloysius’ first birthday, they mentioned the possibilities of celebrating Aloysius’ Birthday at a restaurant or at their own residence. To my surprise, they decided to share and spread some of the joy of their son’s birthday to the kids at Vincentius Putera Orphanage. What a noble way to celebrate a birthday & start the new year!

Aloysius’ grandparents travel along the way from India to Jakarta just to celebrate their grandson’s first birthday.
Aloysius’ brother Aldrin is very friendly, helpful and the last but not the least he is a young photographer at heart – *Another Canonian! Yes! – He was my “greatest assistant” of the day. It is pretty rare to find a 9 years old family member of the client who help out in setting up my equipments. Thanks Aldrin!

‘Priceless’ is what I use to describe for seeing the kids smiled and laughed, enjoying the meal and having fun throughout the afternoon.
